Head Coach Domenic Alfieri

Coach Alfieri grew up in Austin, TX and played goalie for Texas A&M where he became a Two-Time All American and was selected to the All Lone Star Alliance Team in 2000 and 2001. He was also named the Lone Star Alliance Defensive Player of the Year in 2001 and was the Texas A&M Defensive MVP in 2000.

After graduating from college, he returned to his alma mater, James Bowie High School in Austin, TX where he was the head lacrosse coach and took his team to 5 district Championship games, winning 3 district titles. His team went on to finish in the top 4 in the state 5 times. He also spent time as an assistant coach at St. Joseph’s High School in Trumbull, CT where his team played in two state championships and won one state title.

Coach Alfieri recently moved to Fort Collins this past December from Ridgefield, CT with his wife, Joy, and their 4 children. He spent this Spring head coaching his son’s U7 Vipers team and assistant coaching his daughter’s U12 Havoc team. During this short period of time he quickly made a name for himself in the local lacrosse community and was asked to host a goalie clinic as well as provide regular goalie coaching for players within the Vipers, Havoc and NOCO Select organizations. He is a welcome asset as the Head Coach here at Rocky Mountain High School.

Players and parents can call our new Head Coach “Coach Dom”.  He prefers to handle any questions from players directly by phone or in person. He also is available for parent questions directly at his email or (512) 663-5031. Coach Dom emphasizes that skills and Lacrosse IQ take time and practice to develop, and these attributes cannot be learned in the compacted Spring season where we play 15 games in just over eight weeks. He is also big on hard work and a team mentality where you respect your teammates by working hard and pushing each other in an only positive manner.

For questions that the Coach does not need to answer such as organizational issues, practice times, fees, scholarships or any issue not involving a coaching or disciplinary issue, please reach out to your Boosters officers at or (970) 481 6278
